  • The East River bike path is like my backyard... it has a lot of variation in its scenery, enough space for any runner to be comfortable, and no waiting for crosswalks. It is a very friendly, flat path for anyone who is looking to train at a steady state and it can go up to 9 miles if one goes out and back, with the option of adding miles along the way on a public track in East River Park. The only downside is that it has no hills as an option and it can sometimes get a little chilly in the winter. ( by bitemecrohns on 2014-01-31 )
