DescriptionLocated 4 miles from the junction of US Highway 191 on Kane Creek Road south of Moab, Utah along the Colorado River one can find the red rock cliff surrounded Kane Creek Trailhead. The trailhead is a large gravel lot and is located at the point when paved Kane Creek Road turns to gravel after a cattle guard. There is an information kiosk with maps and information on the trails, roads, and camping in the area. Several iconic Moab trails can be reach from here including Amasa Back (a mile south on the gravel Kane Creek Rd), Pritchett Canyon (located across the road from the parking lot), Jackson Hole Trail and much more.
