DescriptionThere are an assortment of trails on the South side of Palos Verdes with beautiful views over the pacific and towards Catalina. They are great for hiking, running, and mountain biking, and you will occasionally see some people out on horseback. There are an array of trails ranging from the main fire road, to some technical single track (some prohibit mountain bikes or horses) that wander all over this area. Most re-join towards the same location at the top, roughly 2.25 miles each direction, depending which trails you take.
There is water available on Forrestal Drive at Ladera Linda Park at the bottom, and at LA County Fire Station 56 in Rolling Hills at the top, but both are detours from the main trail system and may be hard to locate if you are not familiar with the area.
