DescriptionHike, run, bike. 125 miles ( yes, I said 125!!!!) of wooded trails that will make your shoes/wheels sing! But, come ready for hills. They don't call this place "Blue Hills" for nothing! For a state that had a lot of FLAT, this is a wonderful place just south of Boston that will fulfill your hill cravings! Big huge beautiful tress, fantastic and well maintained trails (but still rustic), and awesome views at the tops of the hills. After you are done with your workout, whip out a picnic and hang out by the lake and cool off with a swim (if it's still hot out as this is a super place to be no matter what season). A great destination for those who want to get out of the Boston area for some heavenly nature, or those of you who are traveling along 95/93 south and need to get out for a workout or a simple car brake. Have fun!

  • The street crossings are not really "streets" but very un-busy and deserted mountain type roads. You can go for miles and not hit one. This place is THAT BIG! ( by StephanieCase on 2013-07-15 )
