DescriptionA must-see for out-of-town people to visit. Probably one of the most beautiful urban parks in the country. A bit larger than NY's Central Park. The central drive is blocked off to traffic on Sundays for runners, bicyclists, skaters, walkers. Park has the DeYoung Museum, Academy of Sciences museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Children's Playground, Kezar Stadium track. It's a runner's paradise. Park has many statues, a large faux waterfall, Dutch windmills, several gardens. The famous intersection of Haight/Ashbury is not far from the eastern part of the park.
