DescriptionGreat trail with beautiful views of San Pablo Bay. In & out of the shade of California oaks, gentle grades, & benches for stopping points make this a great trail for beginner and/or family mountain bike rides with kids getting a handle on their skills. Also nice for hikes/runs. Just over 3 miles one way; can hook up with other park trails to make 6+ mile loop. Faster/more hard core mountain bikers will enjoy the morning hours on weekends with less traffic, or weekdays.

Pin is dropped at China Camp Village, which has bathrooms, a picnic area, some history (China Camp is an old fishing village), limited food services and a beach. You can also pick up Shoreline Trail at Bullhead Flat parking area (bathrooms) and several other roadside pull-offs along N. San Pedro Rd.

N. San Pedro Rd is popular for road cyclists. Drive with caution through the park.
