DescriptionStagecoach Park is a great starting point to access the Rancho LaCosta Trails or just run through the neighborhoods in the area (all have sidewalks). Plenty of parking and bathrooms, plus a grassy area for stretching and strides. Baby jogger friendly on the sidewalks, NOT the Rancho La Costa Trails.

To get on the trails from the park, take the sidewalk/bike lane E/NE on Camino de Los Coches towards La Costa Ave. Take a right on La Costa Ave. Shortly after it bends to the right, there will be a trailhead on the left side of the road (look for the signpost holding the dog poop bags) (approximately 1/2 mile from Stagecoach Park). This trail will cross Camino Junipero and then you'll be on the trails--over 10 miles accessible in different combos from this point. Lots of activity on weekends: mountain bikes, hikers, runners. Grades of different steepness, not much flat.
