DescriptionThe Demo is a climb fest up on the Summit. The trails will all have a 15 to 30 minute (1.5 to 2 mile) climb for a thrilling fairly steep descent. The layout of the Forest is a trail on the top call "Ridge" that has five trails that drop back down to "Hihns Mill Road". You can climb up and do it again. And again. At the end of any day one will still have to ride back up HIhns Mill to the parking lot up a more gradual climb of at least 2.5 miles.

Parking is both on the road and in a dirt lot across the "steel bridge".

The most common way people ride the Demo is to start from the parking lot and travel on the road out Eureka Canyon to the dirt road at Buzzard Lagoon. Up Buzzard Lagoon you will enter the Nisene Marks State park and keep climbing to Rosalia Point, a high point with benches that has the trail head to The Demo. THat is Ridge Trail. From there you can pick which trail along the ridge you want to turn right on and descend to Hihns Mill.

Single Track almost everywhere in the Demo
