DescriptionThis is a really nice walled park in South Liverpool, with a narrow dirt/park trail of just under 2 miles circling the perimeter. The path is narrow (but not single track), so passing people may be difficult. There is also a couple of places where you have to cross access roads to carparks, so it is not always suitable for fast workouts. It's a very pretty place to run though, and the soft ground is very kind on the feet. From here, you can take in a number of the local parks, without running very much on the road. Take Druids Cross Road to Black Wood and Childwall Woods, or take Menlove Avenue to Allerton Tower Park, Clarke Gardens, and Woolton Wook/Camp Hill. A third option is to take in Sudley Estate, Sefton Park and Otterspool Park.
