DescriptionThis is one of the most popular places for runners in South Country Dublin to train. There is a paved path right around the park, unpaved paths through the trees in the centre, and a paved 1km loop at the back of the house which is perfect for reps. There are also grass pitches within the park for those who want to stay off road. The park can get very busy with buggies at the weekend. You can run from here to the Dublin Mountains and combine as part of a longer run. The park is very well kept, and the toilets are always clean. There is a small cafe, and at weekends there are some food stalls in the courtyard beside the house. There is a Parkrun (5km) in the park every Saturday morning, and occasional other races during the year.
