DescriptionIf you are looking for a place to get in some steep trail repeats, or just a change of pace in North Phoenix this is your place. The average grade on this trail is 15 degrees, and from the trailhead to the top is about .75 miles. Elevation gail to the top is about 600 feet. There are some nice views once you reach the top including 360 views of Phoenix from the radio station antennas. After a rain the trail can be covered join small rocks or pebbles making if a bit difficult, especially on the way down. Most use here is from hikers but you will see people running and mountain biking the trail If you use some of the other trials on the area (trail 100) you can turn this into a rather lengthy run with some nice tiring hills.
