DescriptionA 17-mile-long, 12-foot-wide paved/asphalt trail that will eventually be expanded to 35 miles connecting to Lake Michigan (west) and Battle Creek (east). The trail, for non-motorized traffic only, is free and open daily from 7:00 a.m. until sunset. There are currently two segments; one starts at the eastern terminus of the Kal-Haven Trail going to Westnedge Ave., and the other starts along D Ave. near the Kalamazoo River and goes to River Ave. in Comstock. As of October 2014, construction is in progress to extend the trail east to Galesburg. Website: http://www.kalcounty.com/parks/krvt/
