DescriptionSouth Cottonwood trail is a single-track all dirt trail, on the south side of the Bozeman valley. The trail starts out with a moderately steep set of switch backs for half a mile and then it drops down to the first of 4 bridged creek crossings. The trail will meander along the creek’s sides until it reaches its headwaters. For those without GPS the first bridge is at 1 mile the second bridge is at 2 miles the third bridge is at 2.4 miles and the fourth bridge is at 5 miles. This is a very popular hiking, biking, and running trail so you may run into a few others out enjoying the views.
