DescriptionThe Riverpath Del Mar is a City of Del Mar path that begins just south of the inlet bridge and runs approximately 1/4 mile east to Jimmy Durante Blvd, along the south side of the river. Cross Jimmy Durante Blvd to pick up the Coast to Crest Trail on the NORTH side of the river (ironically, look for the 'no pedestrian crossing' sign -- cross safely! Also look for the large San Dieguito River Park sign).

The Lagoon Trail is approximately 2.5 miles. The Coast to Crest Trail currently end at El Camino Real but will eventually be a contiguous stretch of trail 70 miles long connecting the San Dieguito River's inlet at the Pacific Ocean to its source on Volcan Mountain.

Park along 101 near Dog Beach (street parking: free & paid spots).
