DescriptionState recreation area with an approximately 3-mile paved road leading from M-96 (Dickman Rd) to Eagle Lake. There are additional shorter roads branching off at various points in the park, such as the campground road. There are four mountain bike trails with a total length of 25 miles. The main road is good for road cycling and running, and includes a couple of hills. There isn't a wide shoulder or dedicated bike/run/walk lane, but the traffic within the park isn't heavy and traffic speeds are pretty slow. The beach at Eagle Lake has a concession stand and restrooms, and also features parking. Because Fort Custer is part of the State Park system, there is an entrance fee if you don't have the Michigan Recreation Passport (for Michigan license plates).
