DescriptionWashington Park or Wash Park as coined by the locals is a great place to find a quieter place to run in "city". It's about 4 miles from the Downtown Denver via the Cherry Creek Path and offers a dirt trail around the circumference of the park or you can use the wider street set in a bit that is mostly used by pedestrians and cyclists. Nestled in old historic neighborhoods, the park is teeming with activity on the weekends as locals come to enjoy the flowered landscapes, bird watching at the ponds and the large grass areas in the center of the park.

The paved road on the interior is also great for running workouts as its smooth and wide and the loop is just over 2 miles with a few rolling hills.

There is also a playground for the kids.
