DescriptionThis is a mixture of single track, a double track fire road, beaches and (for extended route) quite country roads. Start at the Raven Nature Reserve carpark, and take the fire road to the end of the forest (approximately two miles), make your way back along the beach to the carpark, or continue along the beach to any of the other beaches along the coast as far as Blackwater, leave the beach at your chosen point, and make your way back along the narrow country roads to the Raven. The wind will normally be in your back on the beach running the loop in this direction, but if there is a strong northerly or northeasterly breeze you're better running the beach in the opposite direction. In there forest, there are also single track trails over sand dunes. There are few more beautiful places in the world on a clear day when the tide is out.
The fireroad is completely flat and there is a loop circuit at the end which is perfect for workouts.
