DescriptionOk, so if you don't mind the fact that this park is the site of a former active landfill, it's actually kind of nice! There's great views from the top (you can see the top of the pru from here in downtown Boston) and because it's a landfill there's a nice hill to run up if that's what you're looking for. All told, there's about 3 miles of paved double wide asphalt trails that make three loops. There's an inner loop at the top of the landfill that is pretty flat, an outer loop around the bottom that is sort of flat plus a middle one that goes up and down the sides. This park connects up to a few miles of nice single track dirt trails (Oak Hill Trails) to the north that is part of the brook farm historic site. To find the trails, park in the lot at the top of the hill and take the outer loop, looking for the bridge across sawmill brook on the north side of the landfill.

Theres a really nice trail map here: http://www.newtonconservators.org/map34millennium.htm
