From You5751.68 Mi
Local TipsYou can park along Croom-Nobleton Road and enter the mountain bike trails from several bailout points. Look for Pisgah pit and run it. Awesome.

DescriptionThis is the location of the infamous Fools 50 and John Holmes race. Locals run the 7-16 mile loops here every weekend. It is very hilly and starts high at Tucker Hill Fire Tower and winds though the forest to the lower swamp areas to the East. There are numerous mountain bike and equestrian trails intertwined throughout. I recommend wearing bright colors (I wear blaze orange) as the land is open to some hunting. There is water and restrooms at Tucker Hill trailhead and a place to stash water, etc at the Croom Rd. crossing. It costs $2 per person to use the Tucker Hill facilities.
