DescriptionThe trail is a wide, flat gravel path that parallels the Little Lehigh Creek on both sides, and is well-suited for both running and biking. There are several bridges along the route that allows you to choose the length of your run or bike ride, and also includes some hills for a little bit of a challenge. The Parkway is part of the route for the annual Runner's World Half Marathon and is a quiet and peaceful place to visit. There is a Fish Hatchery at the Southern end of the route as well as a disc golf course. If you visit there during the Winter holidays watch out for the Christmas Light displays.
Parking at the Fish Hatchery (Fish Hatchery Road) is nice because it gives you an area to warm up before your run, and allows you to walk around and see the fish while you cool down. It is very close to the intersection of Route 78 and Cedar Crest Boulevard.
